How do I count the days between two dates?

Pick the From and To dates in BS or AD. You get the gap in years, months and days, and the total days, weeks, months and hours. The dates can be in either order.

Does it count the end date?

Not by default: from 1 Baisakh to 2 Baisakh is 1 day. Tick “Include the end date” to count both the first and the last day, for example for leave or a booking.

Can I count days between Nepali (BS) dates?

Yes. Switch to BS and pick both dates in the Nepali calendar. The months and days are counted with the real length of each BS month (29 to 32 days).

Why do BS and AD give slightly different months and days?

Accepted Answer

BS months change length from year to year while AD months are fixed, so the leftover days after whole months can differ by a day or two. The total number of days is always the same.
